Our State of Health
For the second year in a row, the average life expectancy in the US has dropped—it was over 50 years ago the last time this occurred. In a recent analysis it was found that life expectancies in 29 countries were over 80 years. The US is far behind at 78 years. – USA Today 12/21/17
More than one-third (36.5%) of U.S. adults are obese. The prevalence of obesity is 8.9% among 2 to 5 year-olds, 17.5% of 6 to 11 year-olds and 20.5% of 12 to 19 year-olds. Childhood obesity is also even more common among certain populations. – CDC.gov
As you can see, the US is not trending in a healthy direction. And this is not due to a lack of drugs, treatments or tests. Many would agree that health care is getting more expensive and the quality is decreasing.
We believe chiropractic care and the lifestyle it promotes is one of the solutions to the current healthcare crisis. “Why?” you ask...
Hurst Chiropractic has such an awesome staff! They have always been so good to me! Dr. Chad has been so helpful with the adjustments and even explaining stretches to help. Went there all through my pregnancy to help with my back pain and now I am taking my son there as well. They do great with children! Highly recommended!
